Fashion is our passion, and this passion leads us to prioritize our moral compass in this situation. For a couture piece, the lava masks are offered at a friendly price (starting at P1200 for a set of 3). These handmade masks are made of the highest quality of material and intricately handcrafted by Kapampangan artisans. Meanwhile, for those who have clamored for the eponymous Luxe mask made of Swarovski and crystals, the Atelier made a limited number, which proceeds go directly to livelihood programs and community projects that we have been spearheading since March. We are excited to share with you these programs that involve Filipino artisans all over the Philippines.
Passion. Fashion. Compassion.

Inspired by the Filipinos' burning passion for striving and getting through the crisis together, Mak Tumang Atelier conceptualized a way to make the popularized gown into masks. The net proceeds will be dedicated to fortifying livelihood programs involving groups of ingenious artisans.
These structured masks are the actual microphotograph of the iconic Lava Gown worn by the crowned Miss Universe 2018, Catriona Gray. It represents an emblem of victory, aiming to inspire each Filipino to win against the crisis.

The Filipino notion of Bayanihan or unity is still as vicious and as raging as the lava flow. Like all the waves in our lives, we take calamities, natural disasters, and a pandemic with an eagerness to overcome it. Bubbles of support from all corners of the country and selfless hearts jointly reached out to help those in need.
Mak Tumang Atelier wants to emphasize the value of fashion, passion and compassion while showcasing Filipino talent.
